Physik Instrumente GmbH & Co. KG
M-661 and M-662 PILine translation stages offer accelerations to 5 g with millisecond response and velocities to 500 mm/sec in an extremely compact package. Providing travel ranges to 20 mm, they are among the smallest motorized translation stages currently on the market. Both models are designed for open-loop operation (a similar closed-loop stage with linear encoder is available as model M-663. The M-662, with its square footprint, is also suitable for use in XY configurations. For applications where the smallest dimensions are essential, the P-652 micro stage is offered.

Physik Instrumente GmbH & Co. KG
Reference-class linear stage. Linear positioning stages with magnetic direct drives largely dispense with mechanical components in the drivetrain and the drive force acts directly on the motion platform. Together with precision bearings, a high travel accuracy and longer lifetime is achieved. The linear positioning stages are particularly suitable for scanning applications. PIMag® Voice Coil. Voice coil drives consist of 2 essential components: A permanent magnet and a coil, which is located in the air gap of the magnetic field. When current flows through the coil, it moves in the magnetic field of the permanent magnet. The direction of motion depends on the polarity. Thanks to their low weight and friction-free drive principle, voice coil drives are particularly suitable for applications, which require high dynamics and high velocities at limited travel ranges. High scan frequencies and precision positioning are also possible with these drives, because they are free of the effects of hysteresis.

PInano

Physik Instrumente GmbH & Co. KG
PInano® XY and XYZ low-profile piezo scanning stages are optimized for easy integration into high-resolution microscopes. They feature a very low profile of 20 mm (0.8") and a large aperture designed to hold Petri dishes and standard slide holders. The long travel ranges of up to 200 x 200 x 200 µm with nanometer closed-loop resolution are ideal for leading-edge microscopy and imaging applications. PInano® series piezo positioning stages are available in two versions: A) Highest Stability, Linearity and Precision with capacitive feedback sensors. B) High Precision with lower cost piezoresistive sensor feedback. Both types provide very high sensitivity and responsiveness as well as nanometer resolution. A proprietary servo controller significantly improves the motion linearity of the piezoresitive version compared to conventional piezoresistive sensor controllers.
