SCR ELEKTRONIKS have developed TESTING SET UP FOR MIXER MOTOR for carrying out performance test and High Voltage test of mixer at final stage. It consists of Voltmeter, Ammeter and Watt meter for observing the values of different parameters. OK / NOT OK lamps are also provided to display the results of HV test. HV test is provided with tripping cut off concept. Output Socket is provided for quick connections and disconnections of the equipment to be tested. Needle Flame Test Apparatus is designed to carry out fire hazard testing. Flammability test is to check the ‘Resistance to Fire’ of electrical insulators that touch directly conducting parts & also parts of insulators. Testing with regard to fire hazards can be done by creating exactly the conditions occurring in practice. However, this is not possible in most instances. MVDT has a specially built constant current source (current generator) up to 400A (depending on model) and a dedicated PLC to store test parameters (in automatic models), perform test procedure, make the millivolt drop & junction resistance measurements and store test results, that can be retrieved later or downloaded to PC. Earth Contact Resistance Tester

SCR ELEKTRONIKS have developed an equipment namely Earth Contact Resistance Tester to test the appliance. To ensure the safety of operator it is essential that the Earth path (connection) should offer minimum impedance to by pass short circuit Current to Earth. This is ensured by measuring Resistance of the Earth path by passing heavy Current say 25 A. The Earth Contact Resistance Tester essentially comprises of a Variable Current source with digital Ammeter to measure the Current supplied. The Voltage drop across the Earth path is measured with a digital Voltmeter. Optionally for a particular Current (25 A) the meter can be calibrated in terms of Resistance. A timer is provided to switch off the Current after the Set Time.

The product is designed to carry out Arc Ignition Test as per IS/IEC 60947-1 Clause 8.2.1.1.2 (material used for electrical products). The adjustable current source is 230V AC @ 33A. The load is adjusted to get 32.5A at 0.5 power factor. Included on control unit are Digital Voltmeter, Digital Ammeter, Digital Power Factor Meter and Micro Controller based programmable Sequence Timer with LCD display for display & setting. The arrangement is made to mount the test piece with electrodes as per the specification given in the standard.

The set-up consists of a True RMS Constant Current Source (to maintain the Current within + / - 1 % of set value with Digital Indication), PC based control system, Temperature data logging on PC, Servo-Controller and other indications.
