Amperis is a company specialising in state-of-the-art instrumentation for the diagnosis and testing of electrical substations. The company is located in the northwest of Spain, in the Polígono Industrial das Gándaras in the city of Lugo. After completing the construction and since November 2017 the company is located in the new headquarters, located at 14 Barbeito María Street. The new Amperis headquarters has offices and a new, more modern warehouse, with more internal conveniences and more facilities for the exit and entry of goods, with the aim of always providing a better service to the customer.

CAT Standard Series
The CAT Standard series circuit breaker analyzers & timers are stand-alone or a PC-controlled digital instruments for circuit breakers condition assessments. The timing channels record closing and opening of the arcing, resistor, and auxiliary contacts. CAT Standard series records graphs of both, trip and close coil currents and displacements of the HV and MV circuit breaker moving parts. The main contact channels can also measure the resistance value of the pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker). Test results can be downloaded to a USB memory stick or saved to internal memory. The CAT Standard series internal memory can store up to 500 test results (numerical and graphical data). Test results can also be printed on the 80 mm (3.15 inch) thermal printer (optional accessory) in tabular and graphical form. It is unique device in the market due to its dual purpose: - It can be used as a stable power supply for coils and spring-charging motors (both DC and AC power supply voltage) during commissioning and maintenance testing. - It is powerful analysis tool for assessing conditions of circuit breaker auxiliary circuit and coils. The Coil Analyzer SAT40A II series has separate DC and AC coil outputs for power supply of opening and closing coils.
