USB Isolators
-
USB isolators protect the communication interface between the host, such as a PC, and its peripheral. Utilizing iCoupler® digital isolation technology, Analog Devices offers USB 2.0 compliant SOIC components with data rates up to 12 Mbps that provide EMC protection and safety isolation, reduce design size and time, and lower system cost. Galvanically isolated USB μModule® (micromodule) transceivers integrate the USB interface with an isolated dc-to-dc converter for up to 2.5 W of isolated power and provide ±15 kV ESD. Whether for host, hub, bus splitter, or peripheral device, these transparent USB digital isolators are easy to use—they just work—all while meeting the demanding standards required for medical and industrial applications.

LVDT Sensor Amplifiers
-
Analog Devices signal conditioning ICs, together with linear variable differential transformers (LVDTs), can be used to convert mechanical position to a dc voltage. The IC provides both the excitation for the LVDT and the output conversion to dc level with a user selectable gain. ADI LVDT signal conditioners are available to interface with a wide range of LVDTs, including half bridge and standard 4- and 5-wire.

Low Input Bias Current Amplifiers (<100 pA)
-
Low input bias current op amps are required whenever the difference of currents or voltage is small and needs to be measured accurately. These op amps are used so that the signal is not loaded down by the input of the op amps. Low input bias current op amps are critical for interfacing sensors in applications from photodiodes, pH meters, or other electrometer related functions to downstream electronics. Analog Devices has many precision op amps that fit the definition and range of these applications.

Analog Control Variable Gain Amplifiers (VGAs)
-
Analog Devices voltage controlled variable gain amplifiers provide continuous gain control over a wide dynamic range for a variety of audio and optical frequency bands. Our VGAs improve the dynamic range of a circuit by allowing users to adjust a signal’s amplitude in real time, which is invaluable for ultrasound, speech analysis, radar, wireless communications, and instrumentation-related applications.
