MAX31855 J-Type Thermocouple Arduino Shield
SEN-30004-J03
-
Four channel MAX31855 digital thermocouple Arduino Shield. Two versions of this shield are avaliable for each thermocouple type: either 'Ch 0-3' (CS pins use Uno/Mega IO pins 7-10) or 'Ch 4-7' (CS pins use Uno/Mega IO pins 3-6), with the only difference being which set of zero-ohm resistors are populated on the board. This allows use of other SPI devices that may be 'hard coded' to specific digital pins on the Arduino, or simply stacking one of each type together to get a total of eight thermocouple channels on one Arduino. The MAX31855J supports a measured temperature range of -210C-1200C with known thermal characteristics and output resolution of 0.25C. Included thermocouple connectors are type-specific to provide proper material continuity as close to the IC as possible. The SEN-30004 is interfaced via 3 or 4-wire SPI and a high-speed level shifter is included to allow the board to plug directly into an Arduino Uno or Mega

Arduino CAN Shield
IFB-10003-INP
-
CAN (Controller Area Network) communication has become ubiquitous in industry. It is used in automotive applications (part of OBD and many other datalinks), on-highway trucks (J1939), industrial machinery and instrumentation, and equipment applications (factory automation). This shield is designed to provide a CAN 2.0 front-end interface for 5V Arduino modules (Uno, Mega, etc). The module uses SPI to communicate to the Arduino, and requires an aditional chip select pin. An optional interrupt line to the MCP2515 and two LEDS are also provided. The chip select and interupt lines are selected via zero ohm resistors and have several configuration options for flexibility stacking additional shields. A set of stackable headers is included with this board, not installed. An optional on-board voltage regulator may be used to supply 7.5V to the Arduino's 'Vin' pin (which is regulated to 5V by the Arduino's on-board LDO). The CAN shield regulator supports a wide input range of 9V to 32V. This makes it possible to cleanly build a stand-alone CAN node (remote sensor) without the need for a separate Arduino power supply!

ST VL53L0X Time-of-Flight Range/Distance Sensor
SEN-36003
-
Highly integrated breakout board for the ST Micro VL53L0X Time of Flight (ToF) range finder sensor, which builds on the absolute ranging technology introduced with the VL6180X. The VL53L0X drops the ambient light sensing capability of it's predecessor for a 10X improvement in absolute ranging capability, bringing the maximum possible range to 2 meters! As a result, this sensor has even more uses in the robotics, cell phone and gesture recognition space. The SEN-36003 includes the VL53L0X IC mounted between two 4-40 sized mounting holes with on board 2.8V LDO and high-speed signal translation to handle interface voltages from 3V to 5V. The board is interfaced via an I2C interface and function pins have been broken out to a 0.1" pin header. All pins are translated to allow interfacing with any microcontroller in the 3V to 5V operating range.

Connectors, Header - Female
INT-10140
-
1x40 pin female header. These headers mate with square-pin 0.1" male headers. They can be cut into smaller segments, but please note that they are not break-away and at least one pin will be lost with each cut. Gold plated and RoHS compliant.

Lightning "Emulator" Shield
SEN-39002
-
Arduino shield, ideal for AS3935 lightning sensor development. The lightning "emulator" generates a RF signal that mimics lightning strikes. This board is in an Arduino Uno form factor, and only uses GPIO and I2C, so can be stacked on many form factors (developed on an Uno and Mega).

Proximity Sensors
-
A sensor able to detect the presence of nearby objects without any physical contact.

MAX31855 K-Type Thermocouple Arduino Shield
SEN-30004-K47
-
Four channel MAX31855 digital thermocouple Arduino Shield. Included thermocouple connectors are type-specific to provide proper material continuity as close to the IC as possible. The SEN-30004 is interfaced via 3 or 4-wire SPI and a high-speed level shifter is included to allow the board to plug directly into an Arduino Uno or Mega

Si1145 UV / Ambient Light / Proximity Sensor
SEN-36002
-
SEN-36002 is a highly integrated carrier board designed for the Si1145 UV, Ambient Light and Proximity sensor IC from Silicon Labs. This sensor has 100mLUX resolution, and has a dynamic range of 1 LUX to 128 kLUX with IR correction. This means that whether your application is indoors in poor lighting conditions or outside in full sunlight, this sensor has you covered. In addition, we added a high power LED (150mA max, 20 degree) to take full advantage of the proximity sensing capability of this IC - something you won't see on most competitive carrier boards. Integration is easy with 4 x 4-40 sized mounting holes at the corners of the PCB and signal translation to handle interface voltages from 3V to 5V. The board is interfaced via an I2C interface and function pins have been broken out to a 0.1" pin header. The INT pin is also broken out for interrupt capability.
