It is ideal for optical fiber installation, maintenance, field construction, and other on-site fault-location analysis. As a USB peripheral, UFO is the good choice of OTDR to integrate with remote optical monitoring systems. The OTDR unit is designed as a green PC peripheral compatible with Windows 98, 2000 or above. The application program (AP) sends OTDR command from the computer to the unit and gets data back through USB connection.
