Fail Safe Waveguide Switches
Waveguide switches enable very rapid switching between two RF channels. Fail Safe Waveguide Switches return to the de-energized position when the power is disconnected and requires a small holding current in the energized position. All models have low VSWR and high power handling capacity. They withstand the full power rating of the waveguide and most models can be pressurized to 0.2 MPa (2 ATO) for high peak power applications.

Integrated Rotating Systems
In a radar, for instance, the integrated Rotary Joint connects the moving part of the radar with the pedestal, enabling uninterrupted transfer of multiple media. This transmission can be a combination of RF signals in waveguides or coax channels, or multiple other needed transfers like cooling media, fiber optical signals, electrical signals and air. The design of this Integrated Rotating System is conducted in cooperation with the customer, resulting in a tailor-made product with low losses, high peak performance and compact physical dimensions. Slip Rings Separates
Separates are typically rings and insulation material assembled on an axis along with separate contact brushes. They are usually designed with flying leads. Once integrated, they provide electrical contact between stationary and rotating parts of a slip ring assembly. They use bearings from the host system and provide a more compact and economical solution than self-contained Slip Rings. The coupling of these items requires technical skills from the OEM and is suitable for applications that have tight mechanical requirements.

Waveguide Rotary Joints
