Dynamic Engineering products are designed and manufactured in the USA. The majority of assembly work is done in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in California. Since 1988 we have developed engineering, purchasing, assembly, and test capabilities to guarantee reliability in our products. This is evidenced by our AS9100 and ISO9001 certifications. Dynamic Engineering has a wide product line with embedded solutions for PCIe, PCI, PMC, XMC, IndustryPack, cPCI, cPCIe, PCI-104, PC104e, VME and VPX. We also work with custom requirements. Solutions include adapters/carriers to install one embedded format [i.e. PMC] into another [i.e. PCIe], utilizing available positions in current systems with existing or upgraded hardware. Other solutions include standard bus interfaces for example: SpaceWire, 1553, and HOTLink. Custom designs are frequently implemented for special purpose buses and interfaces. Additionally, Dynamic Engineering provides chassis, power supplies, backplanes, breakouts, cables and other support functions to complete each solution. The PCI2PMC ( PCI to PMC ) adapter / carrier converter card provides the ability to install a PMC card into a standard PCI slot. The PCI2PMC has a PMC card slot mounted to a universal 1/2 length PCI card. Suitable for 32 bit or 64 bit data with 33 or 66 MHz bus operation. The PMC user IO connector Pn4 is brought out to two connectors for access (DIN IDC and SCSI II compatible).

The PMC Carrier routes the PMC IO from P14/P24 to J3/J5. The PIM-Carrier-Dual routes the IO from J3/J5 to the two PIM positions. The PIMs route the IO to the bezel providing the equivalent of PMC front bezel IO on the rear of the chassis. The PIM can match the pinout of the front bezel IO to allow for common cables to be used for front and rear IO.

The initial use of the PCIe-Harpoon is to simulate - act as if the PCIe-Harpoon was another piece of equipment. In addition the PCIe-Harpoon can provide status and direct software control of the system.
