Model 7650A extensometers measure strains with extremely high precision due to their design features and low strain range. All models are capable of tension and compression strain measurement, and may be used for fatigue testing under fully reversed load and strain conditions at frequencies up to 10 Hz.All 7650A models mount rigidly on the load frame and incorporate slide mounting to bring the extensometer into contact with the specimen. The gauge length is set automatically before mounting on the test specimen, which allows for hot mounting after thermal equilibrium has been reached.These units are specifically designed to provide high accuracy, high resolution measurements and perform high temperature fatigue testing at the highest possible frequencies. They incorporate capacitive sensors for low operating force and include electronics with programmable filtering and multi-point linearization for improved performance and accuracy. The overall design minimizes, and in many cases virtually eliminates, any influence from common lab environment vibrations.These water-cooled extensometers are equipped with high purity alumina rods for specimen contact when testing to 1200℃ (2200°F). Wafer bonding has found many applications in the field of MST, MEMS and micro engineering. These include the fabrication of pressure sensors, accelerometers, micro-pumps and other fluid handling devices. The process is also used for first-order packaging of silicon microstructures to isolate package-induced stresses. The OAI AML Wafer Bonder facilitates both the alignment and bonding to be performed in-situ, in a high vacuum chamber. For anodic bonding the wafers are loaded cold and heated in the process chamber. For high accuracy alignment the wafers are aligned and brought into contact only after the process temperature has been reached, thus avoiding differential thermal expansion effects which can compromise alignment. The AML Wafer Bonder is excellent for anodic bonding, silicon direct and thermal compression bonding applications. These features enable the bonder to be used with virtually any processing tool.

Frequency Meter
Frequency Meter is used for measuring the frequency of the signal coming to the input channels of ADC modules and FFT spectrum analyzers. The indicator displays the measured frequency value (frequency of periodic oscillations) and signal cycle time corresponding to the measured frequency. It is possible to change the averaging of the displayed value (0.1; 1, or 10 s) and to select a necessary channel of the ADC module, FFT spectrum analyzer or a virtual channel.

Eurocard Based Systems
With over 100K Rittal brand components, Pixus has virtually unlimited configurations of chassis platforms for embedded computing. Typical plug-in modules are 3U or 6U with a 160mm depth. OpenVPX, CompactPCI Serial, CompactPCI, VME, and VME64x are open standard backplane architectures commonly used in 19" rack-mount Eurocard enclosure systems. (For OpenVPX products, see the Pixus OpenVPX section.) Enclosures are available to hold these boards in front-to-rear, bottom-to-top, and for 6U and 8U boards there is side-to-side cooling options. The chassis can come with or without integrated fan trays or with redundant push-pull cooling. EMC versions are also standard.
