±200 V, 1 A System PXI Source Measure Unit—The PXIe‑4136 system source measure unit (SMU) delivers high power, precision, and speed. It is ideal for a broad range of applications including manufacturing test; board-level test; lab characterization with devices such as integrated circuits (ICs), power management integrated circuits (PMICs), and radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs); and discrete devices including LEDs and optical transceivers. The PXIe‑4136 features 4-quadrant operation. The PXIe‑4136 is a hardware-timed instrument with a high-speed sequencing engine for synchronizing acquisitions between multiple SMUs. The module supports direct DMA streaming between the host PC and SMU, so you can stream large waveforms and measurement data at the full update rate and sample rate of the instrument.

An electromechanical switch made primarily for routing microwave signals/RF energy from one point to another within a transmission line. Coaxial switches can be used in either an industrial environment or in the lab. These electromechanical devices are also used for RF testing equipment and in large RF communication systems and networks. Coaxial switches vary by port configuration, switch type, maximum frequency, isolation, insertion loss, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) and package type. Coaxial switches are able to route RF signals over a broad bandwidth from DC to 40 GHz, and are now offered with the Low PIM option which will improve Passive Intermodulation levels from -110dBc (standard switch) to -160dBc.

Torque Wrenches

Recommended torque for various connectors has changed slightly through the years, current standards often being slightly less than before. The recommended torque depends upon whether a connector is stainless steel or brass. The SMA recommended torques have the most variables, with stainless steel sma's for final installation being 8-10 in-lbs, preferably 8; stainless steel sma's in the test lab are best tested at 5 in-lbs to preserve the sma; & brass sma's are 4 in-lbs. Most of these torque wrenches are "ours" however we also carry the Huber Suhner sma torque wrenches, the 74Z-0-0-21 & 74Z-0-0-79 as they're so popular. Our torque wrenches are preset to specific values.

In addition to the streams being screened and flowing down to the analyzer, daily composite samples are collected. These composite samples flow down to special containers (pots) with perforated bottoms, where the water is drained from the samples, which makes work fast and effective for lab personnel.
