The PX8500 is an external 8-channel relay board for the connection of digital output boards. It can be cascaded in 16, 24 and 32 relays and is intended for mounting on DIN supporting rails. The board provides a convenient interface between an industrialprocess and the SUB-D connectors on ADDI-DATA boards. The change-over contacts of the relay are controlled through 24 V signals. The 24 V voltage supply is protected through varistors and transil diodes. The board is intended for the use with 220 V supply. The creeping distance (acc. to DIN VDE0110) and the connector cross sections allows high-power switching (up to 2,500 VA).

This system scans at one stroke, all the parameters of the relay as per definition of test procedure. The test sequence can be pre-programmed and stored in the disk. You can select the tests as per your requirement. Can include or exclude the test and you can have several options to match your test definitions. Semi skilled person can be engaged for actual testing, as he need not make any settings and need not interpret the readings. This module has 16 two pole relays arranged as two separate8x1 multiplexers as shown in the figure to the left. The muxes may be operated and wired individually for up to 32 8x1's per chassis, or jumpered together to form 16x1's or jumpered to the backplane to form up to a 256x1 mux or two 128x1 muxes. It is available with Type S, M or LT reed relays.
