Power/Position/Size Sensors
Thermal sensors that measure laser power and single shot energy like standard thermal sensors but in addition measure laser beam position and laser size. This position sensing detector measures laser beam position to 0.1 mm accuracy and laser size measurement of a Gaussian beam to +/-5% accuracy. Measuring laser position is important for laser alignment where the laser position sensor can provide feedback to the laser position control.

HASO3 FAST
Our HASO3 Fast Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensors provide fast accurate and reliable measurements by uniting the standard HASO family's standard functionalities that customers have come to rely on, including absolute measurement, unequalled accuracy and insensitivity to vibration, with an acquisition speed of 905 Hz and a spatial resolution of 14 x 14 microlenses. When coupled with our HASOv3 software package, you can perform both zonal and modal wavefront reconstruction; calculate the PSF*, MTF* and Strehl ratio*; visualize the spot diagram; and obtain the M* parameter. Adaptive optics users can take advantage of our CASAO software package to control adaptive optics loops to compensate for atmospheric turbulence, optimize the focal spots of laser beams and Freespace communications.

Galvo-Resonant Scan Head and Controller
Our LSK-GR08(/M) Galvo-Resonant Scanner contains one resonant scan mirror and one galvo scan mirror that deflect an incident laser beam in X and Y, respectively. Identical to the galvo-resonant scanner used in our Bergamo® II multiphoton microscopes and complete Cerna®-based confocal systems, the 8 kHz resonant frequency of the resonant scan mirror enables much higher-speed scans than a galvo-galvo system. In our Bergamo system, the scanner can achieve 30 fps at 512 x 512 pixels image resolution.

Pro Laser Tachometer
332
The #332 is the ideal tool for easy and accurate measurement of RPM in almost any environment. Simply aim the laser beam at a reflective mark placed on a rotating device, push the button and the RPM reading is immediately displayed. No contact with the shaft or wheel is necessary. The laser beam is not affected by shop light and can detect RPM from longer distances of up to 6 feet away. The #332 can measure up to 99,999 RPM in 1 RPM increments. It can be used to measure RPM on coil-on-plug and diesel engines, where conventional inductive tachometers can not be used. Other uses include generators, compressors, industrial engines, fans, gears and more. Zippered case, reflective tape, instructions & 9V battery included.

*Beam Profiling For 266nm To 3000µm
Unlike a power meter that measures average or instantaneous Watts or Joules of the overall laser beam, knowing how the power is distributed within the beam is equally as important. As an example, if you want to cut something the power should generally be focused in the center of the beam to concentrate the power density in a very small area but if you were trying to weld something with all the power in the center you would poke a hole in the weld; requiring the power to be equally distributed as in a top hat profile.
