The Validyne model SI314 is a network interface that connects our model P61 USB pressure Transducer to your smart phone or network web browser. The SI314 supports Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections and will display current pressure readings and transducer status on any web browser or via smart phone. The SI314 also displays the transducer temperature, date of calibration, model and serial numbers and these can be viewed wirelessly or by Ethernet connection. The SI314 makes your P61 accessible from anywhere in the world. Data logging of pressure data is configured via a web browser or smart phone and readings may be stored once per minute to once per hour. A thumb drive or memory card collects the data in comma separated file format(csv) for download to your computer. The data may also be accessed via the network. A graph of the data is also generated on request. A Twitter function allows pressure data to be tweeted from the SI314 at user-defined intervals. The transducer zero and span calibration adjustments are password protected and operated via browser buttons. No potentiometer adjustments are required to calibrate the P61 transducer. In a peer to peer conflict, weapon location radars used for counter battery purposes will be extremely vulnerable.With aerial/satellite based surveillance available for the opponent, radars will be seen. With electronic warfare means being omnipresent, radars will be triangulated and jammed. There is an urgent need for 24/7 persistent surveillance with (preferably) passive sensors. With mobility being the key for survival on the battlefield, rapid re-deployable, or even truly mobile sensor capabilities are required. Therefore, the traditional sheer sound pressure based sound ranging capability becomes obsolete, as the triangular footprint of the sensor nodes is too large to be installed on a manned, or unmanned platform. With the trend towards longer ranges and “shoot and scoot” drills, the concept of capturing the muzzle blast noise becomes questionable, as the speed of sound is too slow to provide timely localizations.

It allows a comprehensive and detailed analysis of data traffic in Sercos III networks. The Sercos Monitor supports the Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems. The tool, which is based on the WinPcap interface, allows a retrospective evaluation of network records saved in pcap format, as well as real-time analysis of network traffic. The user-friendly interface and overview functions which are characteristic of Sercos III networks, such as topology, communication phases and service channel transfers, allow the analysis process to be started quickly and in a targeted manner. Experienced users also have comprehensive protocol and analysis functions available to them. Various views and filters allow an evaluation of Sercos III real-time telegrams and other Ethernet telegrams which is tailored to meet the user's requirements. If required, the functionality of the Sercos Monitor can also be expanded with user-specific plug-ins.
