The host accesses the USD-CAN T7s through US Digital's low cost CANA-232/CANA-485 adapter module. These probes can be fully retracted leaving a low-loss, well-matched transmission line, which is a significant benefit in power related applications where two-port tuners capable of handling large amounts of power are required.
