The 40-728A-002-L (PXI) and 42-728A-002-L (PXIe) are 16x2 50 Ω RF matrices with MS-M Multiway connectors and Y-axis loop-thru. The 4x-727A/728A/729A range are high density RF matrix modules suitable for switching up to 300 MHz in 50 Ω or 100 MHz in 75 Ω. They are available in 50 Ω or 75 Ω versions with SMB connectors or in 50 Ω versions with a multiway connector.

300 MHz, 8x12 PXI RF Matrix Switch Module—The PXI‑2541 is an RF signal switching matrix. With its non-blocking design, you can simultaneously connect any row or column within the switching matrix and maximize the flexibility of your test system. Isolation relays on the module disconnect unused parts of the switching matrix to maintain RF performance and high isolation. The density and bandwidth of the PXI‑2541 is ideal for routing signals between digitizers, function generators, and other RF generators and analyzers. Model 40-531 very high density matrix modules are configured as a 32x8, while the 40-532 modules are configured as a Dual 16x8. Both modules are available in a choice of reed relay formats: 1-pole, 2-pole and 1-Pole screened. The screened version is suitable for switching coaxial signals up to 50MHz. Typical applications include signal routing in Functional ATE and data acquisition systems. These PXI matrix modules are constructed using high reliability Sputtered Ruthenium Reed Relays, offering 109 operations to give maximum switching confidence with long life and stable contact resistance. Larger matrices may be constructed by Daisy Chaining the common signals from multiple PXI modules. For example, seven PXI modules will form a 224x8 Matrix, a total of 1792 crosspoints in a 7-slot PXI Chassis.
