There are two SINE Sinusoidal arrays designed for FBI applications: the SINE M-13-60-S-RM and the SINE M-13-60-FBI Kit.The SINE M-13-60-S-RM was designed jointly by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, of Washington DC, and MITRE, of Bedford MA. The primary function of this Target is for computing Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) evaluation in live scanner fingerprint systems for conformance to Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS) image quality requirements. The array is on reflective material measuring 16mm x 16mm with sinusoidal arrays ranging in frequency from 1.0 to 10.0 cycles per mm; with nominal modulation of the sinusoidal areas at 60%. These devices also offer a differential mode for 48 AI channels to achieve maximum noise elimination. The PXI-2208 also features analog and digital triggering and 24-CH programmable digital I/O lines. Like all the other members in the PXI-2000 family, the PXI-2208 is able to perform analog input at full speed. Multiple modules can also be synchronized through the PXI trigger bus. The auto-calibration feature adjusts the gain and offset to a specified accuracy, eliminating the need to calibrate the modules by adjusting trimpots.

DP-VXI-4503 is a 80 channel, one Form C (SPDT) relay switch designed as a C size VXI module. This high density switch module is designed with a register based interface occupying only one VXI slot. This module uses two Form ‘C’ relay switches. Out of the two contacts in each relay, one is used to provide the status of the relay through read back and the other is used for switching purpose.The user can write the command for the selected channels on to the primary latch of the FPGA section. Readback is available to confirm the selected commands. On command, the data from the primary latch is transferred to the secondary latch. The relay driver section provides the necessary drive to switch ON the relays. The buffers in this section drive the relay coils.This module features a back plane trigger for VXI triggered operation. On receipt of the back plane trigger the programmed relays will be energised/de-energised. Alternatively, software trigger can be used.
