The motor/generator winding resistance test is used to identify open windings, shorts between two windings, short to grounds, connection mistakes or shorted turns. This non-invasive test of winding resistance helps to pinpoint problems regarding windings in stator or rotor part of an electrical machine. Additionally, motor winding ohmmeter has the capability of performing heat run test which will show a change in windings resistance with an increase of temperature.The RMO-M series is designed as an ideal aid in preventive maintenance of electrical motors and generators. They are powerful (up to 100A of test current), portable (8 kg) and generate DC current which is completely ripple-free. This makes measurement very precise with 0,1% accuracy.Three voltage channels make measurement very easy since it is possible to obtain a value of all three winding resistances in one measurement

● The 188FFF doesn't have the function of the sensitivity adjustment. If the customers need the sensitivity adjustment function, plase refer to other models.● The 188FFF is a Fuse and Fault Finder which comprises of two parts : The Receiver and the Transmitter.● The Transmitter, draws a current from the mains supply circuit to which it is connected to. The Signal● Current from the Tx is at about 10kHz. The Transmitter is powered by the mains and requires no batteries.● The 10kHz signal current generated by the Transmitter is then searched(sniffed) by the Receiver to detect the Fuse, Circuit Breaker or the faulty circuit.● The Receiver is a tuned circuit which has it's center frequency tuned to about 10kHz. The sensor is located in the tip of the Receiver.● The amplitude of the received signal is shown on a bar-graph type Leds.● The more Leds ON, the stronger the signal.
