Switch Module
The 40-182A-011 has 6 off high current SPST switches in two PXI slots and is part of our range of high power solid state switching solutions. Each SPST switch uses a fully isolated solid state relay which has been designed to offer fast operation under hot switching conditions and high inrush current with no operational life degradation. Each SPST switch can support 10A of continuous current and switch up to 200V signals. The switch can sustain inrush currents in excess of 50A. AC or DC signals can be switched since the switch is polarity insensitive.

6.6 GHz PXI RF Analog Signal Generator—The PXI‑5652 features continuous-wave generation capabilities with FM, 2‑FSK, or OOK modulation. It uses direct digital synthesis (DDS) for high-resolution frequency hopping or phase-continuous sweeping for fixture and device characterization applications. The PXI‑5652 is ideal for clocking nonstandard sample rates, such as WCDMA signals at baseband or intermediate frequency (IF). This module has 16 single pole relays arranged as an 8x2 matrix as shown in the figure to the left. The matrix may be operated and wired individually for up to 16 8x2's per chassis, or jumpered to the backplane to form up to a 128x2 matrix. It is available with Type S or M reed relays for high speed, long life application. These modules are usually used for 2 wire testing where high and low meter leads must be switched between any two points. Often used for 2 wire LCR meter measurements, cable testing, or open / short testing in a variety of applications.
