Pulsar Microwave manufactures 3-way power dividers from 1 MHz to 1.5 GHz in both surface mount and connectorized packages. They are rated for an input power of 1 watt maximum for a load VSWR of 1.20:1 or better. This series of 3-way power dividers are currently offered in four outline packages. The hermetically sealed outline 301 and surface mount outline B are useful in portable applications where space is premium. Outlines 412 and 433 are connectorized versions in cross or in-line format, respectively.

The resistive power splitters are implemented with tiny resistors. Wilkinson splitters can be microstrip or stripline. The J2180A low noise preamplifier provides a fixed, AC coupled 20dB gain while converting a 1 MOhm input impedance to a 50 Ohm output impedance. With a 3dB bandwidth of 0.1Hz to 100MHz, the preamplifier improves the sensitivity of oscilloscopes, network analyzers and spectrum analyzers while reducing the effective noise floor and spurious response.
