8 Channels, RTD Measurement
RT1
The module provides 8 measurement channels, and can be programmed for interfacing to 2, 3, and 4-wire platinum RTD sensor configurations. The 4-wire mode (default) is the most accurate, providing excellent stability and repeatability. The RTD channels feature individual A/D converters and precision excitation/current drive. Programmable lead-wire compensation is provided for inherently less accurate 2 and 3-wire configurations. All RTD channels are self-aligning because each channel is automatically "aligned" on a rotating basis to eliminate offset and gain errors throughout the operating envelope. Programmability for expected resistance range and wire modes allows for optimization of scaling/resolution, as well as flexibility in reading many RTD types.

The Contaminometer (CM+ Series) system was originally developed by Protonique, the business of industry guru Brian Ellis. They also featured in the early development programmes of "cleanliness measurement" carried out by the US Department of Defense at China Lake in the 1970s. Read-Write Analyzers
Guzik Read/Write Analyzers (RWA) work in conjunction with Spinstands to write data to the disk media and read back the signal for detailed analysis. We have two RWA-4000 series available for For Two Dimensional Magnetic Recording (TDMR) and non-TDMR technologies. The RWA 4000 series offer upto 8Gbit/sec maximum write data rate and 3.5 GHz analog bandwidth for all parametric measurements. Each RWA features a pattern generator with 1psec resolution of bit pre-compensation and supports PRML chip integration. Servo writing and processing is provided for Guzik Spinstand models. The M2p.59xx series allows recording of up to eight single-ended channels or up to four differential channels both with sampling rates of up to 125 MS/s. These PCI Express cards offer outstanding A/D features both in resolution and speed. The cards can be switched between single-ended inputs with a programmable offset and true differential inputs. If used in differential mode each two inputs are connected together reducing the number of available channels by half. The 16 bit vertical resolution have four times the accuracy compared to 14 bit cards and sixteen times the accuracy if compared with a 12 bit card. All boards of the M2p.59xx series may use the whole installed on-board memory of up to 512 MSamples completely for the currently activated number of channels.
