The NTDS I/O Analyzer provides insight and visibility, enabling users to quickly and efficiently analyze timing relationships, message protocols, throughput, and data integrity on all types of NTDS interfaces. It is capable of monitoring any combination of NTDS Parallel Type A, B, C, H and NTDS Serial Type D, E channels as defined in the MIL-STD-1397 revision B and C specifications regardless of NTDS mode. The channels are connected to existing NTDS cabling with NTDS tap boxes and extract ongoing communication. Each word of NTDS information received is time-stamped with a 125 nanosecond resolution clock ensuring highly accurate timing measurements. The Optical DSC450 enables the user to measure glass transitions and melting behaviour of a wide range of substances whilst accurately controlling temperature from -196 °C to 450 °C. The atmosphere of the stage can also be purged with gas as required by the user. A new feature which will increase the characterisation capabilities of the DSC system is to combine it with imaging capability. The new LINK Digital Imaging module enables additional information to be obtained by correlating optical changes such as colour with temperature. The new TASC analysis tool takes this further. TASC (Thermal Analysis by Surface Characterisation) is a new image analysis capability which enables structural changes in samples to be tracked and quantified optically. It has the unique ability to measure local transition temperatures allowing different points on a sample to be identified. The new DSC system is great tool to use in research and quality control to measure quantitative values for glass transitions, melting peaks and sample purity and, when combined with TASC, even sample homogeneity.

ADLINK PXI-7901 is a general-purpose (GP) switch module implementing 16-CH independent single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relays (1 Form C). PXI-7901 can connect one input to one output and be used as signal switching and routing for measurement system or ATE. Thanks to its high switching capacity, PXI-7901 can also be used to turn on or turn off devices such as motors, fans, heaters, and lights. The contact position of the relays can be changed either by direct software commands or by following the instructions previously stored in the on-board scan list. The scan list advances upon the trigger from external measurement devices, such as a DMM. The scan list could also advance when the scan-delay timer expires. In the PXI-7901, PXI trigger functions are supported and software programmable. Multiple modules can therefore be synchronized without additional field wiring.
