It comes with a separate triaxial (special screw-type) female connector and a High Voltage BNC (special type) female connector. This allows terminal configuration to be converted to any other configuration. Therefore, custom test fixture can easily be constructed. The N1413A High Resistance Meter Fixture Adapter is required to connect the N1427B to the B2985B/87B.

High Power Noise Sources

The NS-7001 is high-power noise source specifically designed to operate in the 2.11-2.17 GHz UMTS band. It features flat output power that is regulated over a wide temperature range with high rejection outside the operating band of interest. Logic control is provided to enable/disable the noise source and an internal BIT function continuously monitors the output power. Other frequency bands and power levels are available.

The N1425A is designed to operate specifically with the B2985B/87B. It can hold DUTs with large terminals being used with the N1426C. The N1426A with the N1425A is available for measurements of small DUTs such as PC boards or IC sockets. The N1426B with the N1425A enables the construction of simple custom-made test leads. The N1413A High Resistance Meter Fixture Adapter is also required to connect the N1425A to the B2985B/87B.

Broadband Calibrated Noise Sources
Fairview Microwave’s calibrated noise sources cover frequency bands from 10 KHz to 18 GHz. Their performance specifications include output ENR levels ranging from 15 dB to 30 dB and typical VSWR levels as low as 1.25:1. Depending on the model, calibrated frequency points are at 10 MHz, 100 MHz, 1000 MHz, 2000 MHz and 1 GHz steps.
