3-Channel, 102.4 kS/s/channel, ±30 V, C Series Sound and Vibration Input Module - The NI‑9232 can measure signals from integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) and non‑IEPE sensors such as accelerometers, tachometers, and proximity probes. The NI‑9232 is also compatible with smart TEDS sensors. The NI‑9232 incorporates software-selectable AC/DC coupling, IEPE open/short detection, and IEPE signal conditioning. The input channels simultaneously measure signals. Each channel also has built-in anti-aliasing filters that automatically adjust to your sample rate. When used with NI software, this module provides processing functionality for condition monitoring such as frequency analysis and order tracking.

The models provide digital output, a high-speed sampling rate and insusceptibility to electro-magnetic noise. ACH-600RS is a highly sensitive capacitance water level meters. With the new system, a maximum of four different sensors can be connected to the compact interface unit, enabling simultaneous recording on a personal computer. Additionally, the system can provide analog output as well as necessary. While conventional water level and wave height meters cannot be used near velocity sensors, our instrument can be as near as 5 cm without increasing noise, due to its special isolated circuit. The result is an innovative system that is capable of achieving highly accurate data.

Based on the TI TXB0108 auto-sensing, bi-directional level translator, this module provides access to all 8 channels of the TXB0108 and has a built-in 300mA LDO with 200mV max dropout voltage at full load. Regulated 3.3V output allows this single board to both interface withandpower 3.3V sensors. An important feature of this module is the ability to operate SPI and other digital lines (not including I2C) at high-speed, whereas the 'NXP level shifter' maxes out at 400kHz and resistor dividers fail much earlier. The TXB0108, integrated with the LP3981 LDO, provide a fast, reliable solution to mismatched interface voltages that exceeds the performance of other solutions.

In a peer to peer conflict, weapon location radars used for counter battery purposes will be extremely vulnerable.With aerial/satellite based surveillance available for the opponent, radars will be seen. With electronic warfare means being omnipresent, radars will be triangulated and jammed. There is an urgent need for 24/7 persistent surveillance with (preferably) passive sensors. With mobility being the key for survival on the battlefield, rapid re-deployable, or even truly mobile sensor capabilities are required. Therefore, the traditional sheer sound pressure based sound ranging capability becomes obsolete, as the triangular footprint of the sensor nodes is too large to be installed on a manned, or unmanned platform. With the trend towards longer ranges and “shoot and scoot” drills, the concept of capturing the muzzle blast noise becomes questionable, as the speed of sound is too slow to provide timely localizations.
