Teledyne RF & Micrrowave's Six Channel 2 - 18 GHz (RF and LO) downconverter operates with an IF of ~960 MHz, providing 25 dB of RF-IF gain, and bandwidth of ~500 MHz. This downconverter operates on a single LO at -6 dBm which is amplified, split, then again amplified to each of the 6 channels. Integrated into each channel is a range extension switch, controlled by a TTL input and adding 20 dB attenuation. Noise figure is ~ 13.5 dB and output IP3 is ~+25 dBm. The downconverter is 2- sided, hermetically sealed and designed for rugged applications.

The M4KDiscrete contains control I/O registers that are memory-mapped and may be accessed in real time. The module supports twenty programmable I/O discretes that can record or control the external discretes that are connected to it. In addition, the module can record changes in the input discrete with an associated time tag via a built-in FIFO. Output discretes are open collector, capable of handling up to 32V with a maximum sink current of 100 mA each. Pulsar Microwave's 2-way switches are available in absorptive and reflective designs from 20 MHz to 18 GHz. They are also referred to as single pole, double throw and abbreviated SPDT or SP2T. These switches have a typical VSWR performance of 1.6:1 or better and input power handling of 200 milliwatts maximum. Switching time is 100 nanoseconds, and isolation of 60 dB or greater for most models. Supply voltages are +5V and -5V, with TTL logic control voltage of 0 to 5 volts.Both absorptive and reflective SPDT switches are packaged into Pulsar Microwave's SW2 outline. Configuration is standard with SMA female connectors. Voltage is applied with wire wrap feed thru terminals. The housing serves as electrical ground, and two turret terminals are installed for wiring.

All Time source equipment may not be supplied with IRIG-B RS485 signal output. The converter will act as a bridge between GPS Time source and Relays for time synchronization.
