A humidity detector, also referred to as a humidity meter or humidity gauge, is a device with a humidity sensor that measures the relative humidity in the air. PCE Instruments offers a number of humidity detector products including handheld humidity detector, data recording or data logging humidity detector, and combination or multifunction humidity detector devices that also measure parameters such as room or ambient temperature and atmospheric or barometric pressure. A humidity detector can measure relative humidity (RH) as a percentage (%) from 0 to 100 % RH, depending on the humidity measurement range of the specific model.Humidity is a key factor in everything from library and museum archival to agriculture, construction, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR). A relative humidity meter also is helpful in evaluating workers' heat stress risk on production floors and job sites. In addition, humidity plays an important role in the residential sector. The BG10 Gun Barrel Bore Gauge System is an electro-mechanical measuring device that was originally introduced into service by the RAF for the high-speed measurement of aircraft cannons, to ensure minimum operational aircraft turnaround time. Measurements are taken at 16 pre-determined positions along each bore, which are then compared to pre-stored warning and rejection criteria. The actual measurements taken are displayed to the Operator on an LCD display and the measurements stored for future reference. The system will automatically provide a visual indication on the Hand Held Unit whether the barrel was acceptable, close to tolerance or rejected – all this to be undertaken in less than five minutes!

The Model T265 is the only commercially available US EPA Federal Reference Method for Ambient Ozone Monitoring according to the latest US EPA regulatory rules for O3. The NO-CL method for Ozone has several advantages over the conventional UV absorption technology, including the avoidance of positive and commonly found interferrents such as VOCs, fine particulates, Mercury, turpines, ClO2, and others.
