A coaxial 2-way power splitter with a typical insertion loss of 1.2 dB at each output port and a typical isolation of 16 dB across the frequency range of 1 to 18 GHz. The power splitter has a nominal power handling of 30 W (CW) and a typical amplitude unbalance of ±0.4 dB. The return loss for all ports is 13 dB typical. The RF connectors of the power splitter are female SMA connectors.

The integrated 40-Gb/s DP-QPSK receiver incorporates two 90° optical hybrids with four pairs of balanced photodetector (PD) and four linear TIAs into a single butterfly package. Video Distribution Amplifiers (sometimes called a video splitter – not to be confused with a video split screen controller such as our PXD510E split screen controller) are typically used for connecting a camera or other video source to several monitors that do not have “looping” inputs. In this situation, each monitor has a permanent 75 ohm termination. With two non-looping monitors connected together, the line would be double loaded and result in a dim picture on each monitor. Using a Video Distribution Amplifier will solve this problem by driving each monitor individually at 100%.
