The RS485-MOD2 is a front panel mezzanine module designed to provide serial I/O functionality to Curtiss-Wright FPGA-based processing PMC and XMC modules including the PMC-FPGA03, PMC-FPGA05 and XMC-FPGA05D. This RS485 I/O module provides 33 channels of EIA-485 or EIA-422B serial I/O. Each channel is configured as an input or output. The serial protocol and timing are handled by the host FPGA.
