Thanks to SiTek's proprietary AR-coating, optimized around 860 nm, a reflection loss of only 2% is achieved around the responsivity peak. The Models FIM-22 and FIM-41 are portable field strength meters designed to provide precise, direct measurements of electro-magnetic fields in the 200 kHz to 5.0 MHz spectrum. These units include a receiver, integral shielded loop antenna, precision attenuator, internal calibration source, and battery power supply. With calibration accuracy traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the FIM-22 and FIM-41 meet the most exacting requirements of government and industry. Their hinged covers, on the rugged drawn aluminum cases, contain a loop antenna. Opening the cover to a vertical position connects the antenna terminals to the receiver via maintenance-free gold-plated contacts. An interlock switch prevents inadvertent battery discharge when the cover is closed.

The 40-737A-001 (PXI) and 42-737A-001 (PXIe) are 16:1 USB data communications multiplexers suitable for switching USB1 and USB2 data and power connections using a 78 way D-Type connector. The data signal paths are 2-pole arranged as differential pairs as defined by the USB standard. The signal pair has a controlled differential impedance and the multiplexer has been designed for minimum insertion loss. The USB power paths are arranged as a common negative and a switched positive. The power paths are designed to ensure minimum loss of the USB power.

Inductive Motor Control

The inductive motor control position sensor family detects the electrical position within one pole-pair of a rotating shaft and can be used for the motor commutation of a brush-less DC (BLDC) motor. Based on the inductive sensor technology, this family measures the coupling between an excitation coil (TX) and two receiver coils (RX) via a rotating target. The coils are executed as printed circuit coils and the rotating target is a simple punched metal part. With the correct layout of the coils and the target, both synchronized to the number of pole-pair count of the motor, the IC output is proportional to the electrical angular position within one pole-pair segment with increased resolution and high performance of only 0.3° electrical INL!

The SparkFun NEO-M9N GPS Breakout with on-board chip antenna is a high quality GPS board with equally impressive configuration options. The NEO-M9N module is a 92-channel u-blox M9 engine GNSS receiver, meaning it can receive signals from the GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellations witn ~1.5 meter accuracy. This breakout supports concurrent reception of four GNSS. The voltmeter included in the kit, the “Model DPM” voltmeter, is designed for ease of use by meter readers and corrosion technicians alike and the voltmeter comes with an integrated RE-5 reference electrode attached for “metallic structure-to-soil” potential difference readings. The kit also includes a special test lead that has a brass thumb screw on one end which allows the test lead to substitute for the RE-5 reference electrode. This substitution allows the voltmeter to take “structure-to-structure” potential difference readings. The voltmeter offers two ranges, ±2VDC and ±20VDC with a 20MΩ input impedance.
