NMC’s Microcontroller based Automatic Voltage Regulating Relays (AVR Relays) are latest technology based Relays used for regulating the secondary voltage of Power Transformers with On Load Tap Changer (OLTC). The Parameter settings are made through the front panel keys & are stored in NVRAM. Independent time delays can be set for first control pulse & subsequent pulses. Built-in Tap displays Tap number of Power Transformer. OLTC is blocked for UV, OV, OC, CF, Min/Max Tap Positions & Tap Fail . in manual mode, Tap Raise/Lower can be achieved through front keys. In TEST mode, Relays, Display and LED indications can be checked. A pair of contacts are available for Raise, Lower, UV, OV, Manual Mode, CF, TF & OC. Barth High Voltage Pulse Attenuators are matched impedance coaxial attenuators for use primarily in pulsed 50 ohm systems, or where occasional transients would damage ordinary units. The attenuator design closely matches the impedance around each resistor, to that resistor. These attenuators feature an input impedance very close to 50 ohms, with characteristics as good or better than most microwave attenuators. These units are ideal for use in nuclear and high energy experiments. Extensive testing during manufacturing insures very high reliability for single-shot experiments. A voltage coefficient of the resistive film of less than .0001 %/V allows low voltage calibration of most systems.

Seismic Sensors & Transducers
Displacement Pickups are vibration transducers that incorporate a spring-mass system with eddy-current damping using a frictionless pivot. This pivot is a spring flexure that serves as the ‘spring’ and a moment arm attached to the pivot serves as the ‘mass’, which allows resolutions down to the micro inch range. At frequencies above 50Hz, the mass remains fixed in space and becomes an inertial reference. A transducer within the pickup senses the motion of the mounting base relative to the inertial reference and converts it into a proportional signal. Appropriate damping results in a frequency response flat down to 10 Hz. Note that the pickup senses in only one plane, which is perpendicular to the mounting base.
