This range is capable of switching up to 16 Amps and up to 300VDC/250VAC hot switching and 400VDC/250VAC cold switching. The M8K1553Px(S) interface module for the multimode, multiprotocol, Excalibur 8000 family of carrier boards provide a complete solution for developing and testing 1553 interfaces and performing system simulation of the MIL-STD-1553 bus. The module handles all standard variations of the MIL-STD-1553 protocol.Each M8K1553Px multi function module contains 64K bytes of dual-port RAM for Data blocks, Control registers, and Look-up Tables. All Data blocks and Control registers are memory mapped, and may be accessed in real time. Each of the independent dual redundant M8K1553Px modules may be programmed to operate in one of three modes of operation: Remote Terminal, Bus Controller/Concurrent-RT, and Bus Monitor. In addition, modules 1 and 3 can be programmed to operate as Concurrent monitors, to modules 0 and 2 respectively.Each M8K1553PxS single function module operates either as a Bus Controller, Remote Terminal, or Bus Monitor.NOTE: the M8K1553PxS module is NOT compatible to the M4K1553MCH module.The M8K1553Px(S) comes complete with Windows software, a C-driver software library including source code and may be used with Exalt, Excalibur’s Analysis and Laboratory Tools, a Windows monitoring application.

This module measures temperatures using 16 electrically insulated measuring channels for temperature sensors. The adjustable acquisition rate per module is 10 samples/s to 0.1 samples/s. The automotive measuring range is -210 C to 1372 C (-346 F to 2502 F); J, K, and N type thermocouples are used. Data transfer to PC occurs via Ethernet.

The 60-510 is a high density 1-pole matrix module controlled via LXI. It has excellent thermal stability and substantially reduced thermal EMF figures when compared to a conventional switching matrix. Typical applications include signal routing in ATE, selecting thermocouple inputs, switching amplifier gain circuits and high accuracy DC micro-volt measurements. Ruthenium reed switches are used because of their good low level switching capability. They also have a very long life with excellent contact resistance stability, minimal wetting current and low thermal offset. The 60-510 is designed in accordance with the LXI Standard 1.4 and is supplied in a 2U high, full rack width case with 500mm depth.
