Arc Ingintion Tester
The product is designed to carry out Arc Ignition Test as per IS/IEC 60947-1 Clause 8.2.1.1.2 (material used for electrical products). The adjustable current source is 230V AC @ 33A. The load is adjusted to get 32.5A at 0.5 power factor. Included on control unit are Digital Voltmeter, Digital Ammeter, Digital Power Factor Meter and Micro Controller based programmable Sequence Timer with LCD display for display & setting. The arrangement is made to mount the test piece with electrodes as per the specification given in the standard.

Highly Collimated Solar Simulators
This solar simulator is based on a Fresnel lens to collimate the light beam from the arc lamp source to infinity, which results in highly collimated illumination of the target spot. A 2.5kW xenon ozone free lamp is used as the light source. The sophisticated design ensures efficient and reliable operations in high-voltage substations and industrial environments.The CAT Advanced series are stand-alone or PC-controlled digital instruments for a circuit breaker testing. The timing channels record closing and an opening of the arcing, resistor, and auxiliary contacts. Also, the main contact channels can measure the resistance value of the pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker).With CAT Advanced series instruments, it is possible to record graphs of open and close coil currents.
