Ironwood’s SMT package emulation adapters are often called “surface mount feet” or “emulator bases”. These adapters provide access and interconnections to surface mount lands. Typically, the adapters are soldered to the target board in place of the IC device and provide a pluggable array of pins interface for sockets, probing adapters, package converters, and even board-to-board connections. These adapters are often utilized as a base for many of our probing adapter products. We constantly innovate to provide the most reliable, cost effective interfaces available. For example, many of our PLCC, QFP and SOIC emulation bases use our proprietary shaped solder techniques, replacing expensive, and often fragile, J-lead and Gull Wing leads. Shaped solder parts are easily fluxed and reflowed onto the target system. RINKO EC (ARO-EC)
Aquatic eddy covariance method is a powerful technique to measure benthic fluxes. The robust RINKO EC (model name: ARO-EC), as a new member of the RINKO series, is designed for aquatic eddy covariance measurements. The RINKO series is based on the optical (phosphorescence) principle which is now widely known as a remarkably fast response oxygen sensor with high accuracy. The response time of the RINKO EC oxygen sensing foil is less than 0.5 s (90%, from air to water at 25 °C). The foil life-time is more than 200 h, which enables at least 1 week of continuous measurements of dissolved oxygen. Moreover, the foil can be replaced easily by the user. Berg et al. (2016)*, after a detailed evaluation, concluded that RINKO EC is a reliable alternative for aquatic eddy covariance measurements of oxygen fluxes and its high data quality allows for new opportunities for eddy covariance flux studies, including long-term deployments in rivers, streams, and marine environments.

Light-resistant Integrating Sphere
The integrating sphere is used for total luminous flux measurement. It uniforms the light by spatially integrating the collected light of light source. The integrating sphere has highly reflective diffusing plates formed on the spheres internal surfaces. Detailed description of item: Complete cold atomic beam sources for alkaline-earth precision experiments and atomic devices. Small chambers with patented permanent-magnet Zeeman slowers and in-vacuum 2D MOT optics allow high flux with low outgassing and no thermal beam flux at the cold atom port, which provides a CF-133 connection to customer vacuum chamber. Advanced thermal design of the effusion oven allows long-lifetime operation at minimal heating power, with no water cooling. An integrated low-outgassing hot window is provided for coupling of on-axis Zeeman cooling light. Ion and getter pumps integrated into the chamber manage outgassing from the oven at temperatures up to 520 °C. Operating baseline pressures below 1×10-11 mbar can be attained in the customer’s downstream cold atom (typically 3D MOT) science chamber, with suitable pumping speed provided at the differentially-pumped cold beam output port.
