AC Magnetostriction Measurement Equipment
TLVM
This equipment measures quantitatively magnetostriction to indicate mechanical striction in magnetizing direction caused when magnetic steel sheet sample was alternately magnetized and is used for research and development of magnetic steel sheet. Magnetostriction is detected as speed signal through the parameters of magnetic flux density and compressive stress with laser doppler vibration meter.

Gaussmeter/Teslameter
Model 2100
The Model 2100 Gaussmeter is a fully featured, high-end Gaussmeter with a low cost Gaussmeter price. It is a compact, high accuracy, microprocessor controlled, flux density measuring instrument. The Model 2100 is capable of measuring static (DC), alternating (AC), or pulsed magnetic fields. Twelve measurement ranges allow the operator to configure the meter for maximum resolution and accuracy from 300mG (30 microTesla) to 300 kG (30 Tesla). Selecting primary measurement functions is quick and easy with dedicated front panel function keys. An easy-to-use menu allows access to user defined parameters such as upper and lower magnetic limits and relative magnetic measurements. Remote meter configuration is completely accessible using the built in RS-232 Interface or optional IEEE-488 Interface.

Fluxmeters
Flux meter has been the established standard for the measurement of magnetic flux density for determining total flux in a magnet or magnetic assembly. Its use was curtailed except in a few specialized areas because of many factors such as the difficulty in setting up light beam flux meter or ballistic galvanometers, limitations on the ohmic resistance of search coils, the requirement of some degree of operator skill in reading the flux meter etc. The development of the integrating type Digital Flux meter has virtually cancelled the hitherto negative aspects of fluxmeterology and has found a broad niche for many magnetic measurement applications.

Magnetic Field and Permeability Measurement
MAGNETOSCOP® 1.070
Foerster Instruments, Incorporated
The MAGNETOSCOP 1.070 is a portable magnetometer system with microprocessor and probes for measuring the magnetic flux density as an absolute or differential value (gradient). It has a USB port for simple data transfer and an SD card for saving measurement data and parameters. The measuring system also facilitates the recognition and saving of peak values and the adjustment of thresholds for limit values. The unit can be used for series and individual measurements. The data can be easily analyzed and documented with the PC software included in the scope of delivery. The MAGNETOSCOP 1.070 thus facilitates the portable and fast measurement of the relative permeability within the scope of the quality control of stainless steel and low-permeable (non-magnetic) alloys as well as the localization of ferrite enclosures. Changes in material (sulfidation, degradation of lamination, structural changes) can also be proven thanks to permeability comparative measurements.

Corrosive Series Valved Cracker
With the superior flux control of the Corrosive Series Valved Cracker, complex structures not possible with conventional thermally controlled sources can be achieved. Mixed Group V layers of varying compositions can be grown without the frequent recalibration procedures necessary when using standard sources. SIMS analysis of a continuously graded GaAs1-xSbx layer demonstrates the excellent flux control available when using two Group V valved crackers, with identical results achieved at two different growth rates.
