The DEG ADF-QMx42 FMC leverages the Analog Devices AD9082 MxFE (Mixed Signal Front End) transceiver technology. This highly integrated device includes a quad 16-bit, 12 Gsps sample rate radio frequency (RF) digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and a dual 12-bit, 6 Gsps rate RF analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The ADF-QMx42 features an 8-lane, 24.75 Gbps JESD204C transceiver port, an on-chip clock multiplier, digital signal processing capability and supports four transmitter channels and two receiver channels.

ADLINIK PXI-2501 and PXI-2502 are high-speed, high-performance analog output multifunction PXI modules. These devices are able to update up to 8-CH, 12-bit analog outputs imultaneously sustaining 1 MS/s. The reference sources and output polarities are programmable individually per channel. Combine this with the multiplying PXI architecture, ADLINK PXI-2500 series PXI modules can generate complex modulated analog signals. The hardware-based arbitrary waveform generation frees CPU intervention even when all analog outputs are updating at full speed, and the lengths of waveforms are only limited by the system memory. The PXI-2500 series integrate up to 8-CH, 400 kS/s, 14-bit single-ended analog inputs with programmable polarity, 24-CH programmable digital I/O lines, and 2-CH 16-bit general-purpose timer/counters.

Its dual demodulator architecture allows the system to use cross-correlation to cancel its internal noise and limitation; it is like comparing the outputs of 2 systems and only display the similarities while rejecting differences. Its main extension is the Residual Noise measurement front-end which includes all necessary hardware to automatically measure residual noise on 2-ports devices either in RF frequencies or microwave. It could be a frequency multiplier or divider, an amplifier or any other phase coherent input to output device.

A series of broadband frequency multipliers is available with output frequencies between 18 and 110 GHz. The use of GaAs diodes on a suspended substrate circuit allows an extremely compact device. Circuit symmetry is used to enhance either even or odd harmonics while suppressing unwanted odd or even harmonics. These devices can be used as higher order even or odd harmonic multipliers with reduced efficiency. All of these multipliers have maximum input power +23 dBm for temperature less than +50°C.
