This latest design evolution sets new standards for size and performance. High attenuation accuracy and low SWR are achieved through the use of miniature thin-film attenuation cards composed of high-stability tantalum nitride film of saphire substrate. Insertion loss is outstanding, with less than 2 dB of loss at 26.5 GHz. The compact size of the unit, 35% smaller than the Keysight 8495/7 (26.5 GHz) family, allows for easy integration into instruments and ATE systems.

Water Samplers: Water Samplers

A water sampler is often used in conjunction with a CTD. The water sampler collects 1 or more actual samples of water for analysis in the lab after recovery of the package. The water samples can be used to verify the accuracy of data measured by the instruments on the package, and/or to provide additional information that cannot be measured with an instrument in the field. Sea-Bird water samplers can be controlled (i.e., bottles closed) from deck via a Sea-Bird deck unit and software, or can be pre-programmed to close bottles at desired depths. Sea-Bird manufactures two water samplers: the SBE 32 Carousel (up to 36 bottles, 1.7 - 30 liters, available in regular, compact, and sub-compact sizes, for depths to 10,500 m) and the SBE 55 ECO (small, 3- or 6-bottle sampler for depths to 600 meters).

BXL is an extra load unit designed to be used with DV Power’s BLU series battery testers. However, this unit is a universal add-on device. Because of that, it is compatible, as an additional load, with any other discharge/capacity tester in the market.In case when discharge current exceeds the capacity of a single BLU device, BXL can increase the discharge capacity. There are no limitations on the number of extra load units that can be connected in parallel to the main battery tester.A system of BLU and BXL instruments enables performing the capacity test in an accurate, user-friendly way. Also, all instruments are in accordance with battery testing standards: IEEE 450-2010, IEEE 1188-2005, IEEE 1106-2015, IEC 60896-11/22, and other relevant standards.These units can be used on any type of battery string, such as lead-acid, Li-Ion, Ni-Cd, etc. They test battery strings with voltages in the range of 5,25 – 500 V DC. On the other hand, current up to 250 A can be discharged through the BXL internal structure.The instrument simulates a constant resistance load during the discharge test. Several resistances can be set for different battery nominal voltage levels. This makes BXL extremely flexible in selecting its load capabilities.

Our current capabilities for the production of optics for ground-based Astronomy are from a few centimeters size up to 2 meters. The short light source is compatible with the LM-101 or the LMC-20. The light is supplied with a 50 watt tungsten halogen convection cooled light source which provides suffcient energy for use with narrow band pass filters or monochronomators in the wave length range of .35 to 2.5 microns. The light beam is chopped at 200 hz by a quiet, vibration free, synchronous motor. The housing also contains a secondary LED light source and detector for synchronization of the amplifier, plus an electro-mechanical shutter to block the light output when the instrument is zeroed. An internal collimating lens produces a narrow beam (<1") so the LM-AS can be used in bell-jar and large coating systems.
