Analog-to-Digital Converter (A/D) and Counter-Timer Card
AD8-16 (ADA-8)
Model AD8-16 (alternate part number ADA-8) is an economical, multiplexed, eight-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (A/D) and Counter-Timer card for ISA-bus computers. It accepts up to eight differential or 16 single-ended analog inputs (jumper configured). AD8-16 requires a full-size expansion slot. All connections are made through a standard 50-pin connector. Base I/O address selection is via dip switch.Analog inputs are multiplexed, amplified, held by a sample and hold amplifier, and then digitized by an eight-bit A/D converter. Amplifier gain is selected by software and can differ from channel to channel.

Adaptive Diagnostics and Prognostics Toolbox
ADAPT
The ADAPT toolbox provides advanced system health monitoring algorithms in the form of Simulink block components. These components may be used to develop health monitoring applications with the Simulink modeling tool. The applications can be tested and refined within the high-fidelity Simulink modeling environment. After verification, the Real-Time Workshop code generation tool may be used to generate deployable C language code for integration in online real-time health monitoring systems. The ADAPT algorithms provide out-of-the-box diagnostic capabilities that are applicable to a wide range of health monitoring problems.

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)
Cars have come a long way since they first came on the road in the 19th century. The first semiconductor-based noteworthy assistance was GPS-based car navigation systems toward the end of ´80s. Today, in almost every car, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and ESP (Electronic Stability Program) are also contributing toward the driver and car passenger’s safety using high quality electronics. After all, the dreams of automated cars from the ´60s are now becoming true — it is only a matter of a few years.

Thermal Vision for ADAS and AV Developers
FLIR ADK™
The FLIR ADK is a cost-effective way to develop the next generation of automotive thermal vision for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles (AV). Thermal infrared cameras are the best sensor technology for pedestrian detection and provide the critical data needed to improve automated decision making in vehicle safety functions including automatic emergency braking (AEB). The ADK’s rugged, IP67 rated enclosure incorporates a heated window for all-weather driving. With the GMSL, USB, and FBD-Link interfaces and drivers available form Teledyne FLIR, installation and testing is plug-and-play easy.
