Magnetometers
The strength of magnetic fields can be determined with a magnetometer. Regardless of whether in the private sector or in the work environment, the increasing use of technology and networking also increases the exposure to magnetic and electromagnetic radiation. This radiation can have a negative effect on living beings, but also on sensitive electronic devices. Many effects are so unspecific that radiation is often not recognized as the cause. With a magnetometer you can measure how strong the radiation is at your sleeping place, in the kitchen in front of the microwave or induction stove or at your workplace. The location of sensitive electronic devices such as a precision balance can be examined with the magnetometer. The extent to which the radiation intensity increases or decreases with distance can be determined by positioning the magnetometer at various distances from the radiation source.

Fluid Power Actuators
CQ
The CQ range provides an innovative fully-concentric and balanced actuator design for quarter-turn valves. The design features a helical mechanism that transforms linear piston motion into quarter-turn valve stem rotation. CQ actuators provide a much higher torque output for a given footprint than scotch yoke designs typically utilised to operate many quarter-turn valve types. It is therefore ideally suited for installation in confined spaces. Further, Rotork’s unique helical pin design provides higher efficiency than a helical gear mechanism utilised by other valve actuator manufacturers.As standard, the CQ torque output profile, like that of a scotch yoke actuator, is engineered to parallel the torque demand profile typically found with popular quarter-turn valve types. The CQ design however is unique in that the torque profile can be custom engineered and manufactured to meet specific, non-standard valve torque requirements.In our experience, the CQ standard range of sizes is suitable for applications that require a pneumatically powered actuator with torque demand less than 150,000 Nm. 90-Degree Optical Hybrid
Six-port hybrid devices have been used for microwave and millimeter-wave detection systems since the mid-1990s and are a key component for coherent receivers. In principle, the six-port device consists of linear dividers and combiners interconnected in such a way that four different vectorial additions of a reference signal (LO) and the signal to be detected are obtained. The levels of the four output signals are detected by balanced receivers. By applying suitable baseband signal processing algorithms, the amplitude and phase of the unknown signal can be determined.

Color Sensor
The color sensor product family includes both RGB (Red, Green, Blue) and high-accuracy XYZ light sensors for precise color measurement, determination, and discrimination. XYZ sensors are capable of providing xy chromaticity co-ordinates in accordance with the CIE 1931 color map. The ams color sensors include filters to block unwanted IR light in the visible spectral range, enabling highly accurate color measurement.
