The coaxial cable has a fair amount of signal loss over long distances. When multiple monitors are connected after long runs of coax, the degradation can be severe, especially when dealing with modern, high bandwidth signals that have 500+ lines of resolution.The VDA403 is a Video Distribution Amplifier designed for professional applications.
