Photon Counting Cameras
Photek photon-counting camera systems are unique as they provide the ability to capture and integrate an image in real time. These systems are ideal for extremely low photon emission applications such as bio-luminescence, chemi-luminescence and weak fluorescence. The ability to accurately analyze transient events is a key feature of this product. The length of time that the image can be integrated is limited only by disc space, and allows the user to fully capture real-time events. Counters, Timers, And Ratemeters
ORTEC offers the broadest range of nuclear counters, timers, rate meters and multichannel scalers. Counters simply count the number of input pulses received during the counting period. Timers count pulses generated by an internal or external clock and are used to measure elapsed time, or to establish the length of the counting period. Rate meters provide a readout of the pulse count rate. Multichannel scalers count the number of events that occur during a specified time interval, referred to as the dwell time, resulting in a time-histogram of counts. “Standalone” and programmable computer controlled versions are available.

The 60-982 provides a effective method of adapting trigger signals from bench instruments to the LXI Wired Trigger Bus signalling standard. The 60-982 converts M-LVDS signals on the WTB to Low Voltage TTL signals and converts Low Voltage TTL signals to M-LVDS. All 8 channels of the LXI WTB are supported in a single adaptor. Each channel of the WTB can be configured either manually or through a digital I/O to be Disabled, Driven or in Wired OR mode. The interface is fully compatible with the LXI WTB standard and counts as one node on the bus.
