The 40-616 16-Bank, 5-Channel, 1-Pole Multiplexer Module forms part of the System 40 PXI Programmable Switching system. The Module consists of 16 electrically isolated banks of multiplexers controlled by a PXI/ PCI interface. Each bank is a 1 to 5 multiplexer and operates with break-before-make action when a new channel is selected. Any Individual multiplexer bank can have a channel set by itself, alternatively, multiple banks can have channels selected simultaneously. The SSI is a Plug & Play Smart TEDS IEEE 1451.4 compliant portable handheld Load Cell Indicator. Just plug in a TEDS compatible Load Cell or Torque Sensor and the SSI will automatically self-calibrate. When used with a non-TEDS Load Cell or Torque Sensor, the SSI can be set up by simple front panel push buttons. The SSI can be scaled to a full 5 digit display from 0 to 99,999 counts to read directly in engineering units such as grams, ounces, pounds, inch pounds, etc. The SSI also has a Units key for automatic conversion of readings for load, torque and pressure. The SSI has an ultra-fast signal-sampling rate of 15,360 samples/second for true peak and/or valley testing capability. Auto-tare allows the meter to be set to zero for any input signal level. The SSI also features a USB port for data logging to a PC. You can also log data to the SSI’s internal memory storing up to 16,000 time and date stamped readings. The SSI also features 2 built-in solid-state alarm relays with LED and audible indicators. The SSI will operate up to 65 hours on a single charge or use the included battery charger for applications where the SSI is mounted permanently.

High Resistance Neutral Grounding Devices

HRG systems limit the fault current by placing high resistance between neutral point of transformer (or generator) and ground. As it is not possible to locate the fault point in delta connected systems, an artificial neutral point is created and delta connected system can be grounded. This allows a fault current of a few amperes thus locating the fault point gets easy. When the neutral point is grounded thru high resistance, both continuity of operation is provided during fault condition and sufficient current (typically between 2 A and 10 A) flow is provided for ease of locating the fault point.

As shown on the V-I curve in figure 1, the LED has a forward voltage VF and a operating resistance (Rd). When using a resistor as loading, the V-I curve of the resistor is not able to simulate the V-I curve of the LED as shown in blue on figure 1. This may cause the LED driver to not start up due to the difference in V-I characteristic between the resistors and the LEDs. When using Electronic Loads, the CR and CV mode settings are set for when the LED is under stable operation and therefore, is unable to simulate turn on or PWM brightness control characteristics. This may cause the LED driver to function improperly or trigger it’s protection circuits. These testing requirements can be achieved when using a LEDs as a load; however, issues regarding the LED aging as well as different LED drivers may require different types of LEDs or a number of LEDs. This makes it inconvenient for mass production testing.
