The analog input/output, digital output, clock and trigger interfaces of the FMC216 are routed via SSMC connectors. The internal clock frequency is programmable and the clock is capable of locking to an external reference.

The CPCI395 features 16 analog voltage outputs, integrated on the CompactPCI standard. Each output has a 12- or 16-bit resolution and a software programmable output range (0..+10V or -10..+10V). Control of the analog output is as easy as writing the binary equivalent to a dedicated register (per channel). Conversion takes place automatically. If desired, channels can be synchronized by presetting the channels and then give a simultaneous update command.
