SWIR Cameras
Our SWIR or Short-Wave Infrared imaging covers the wavelength range from 900nm to 1700nm. A large number of applications that are difficult or impossible to perform using visible light are made possible, with great results, using short-wave infrared (SWIR) imaging thus enabling the user to "See Beyond the Visible". SWIR is similar to visible light in that photons are reflected or absorbed by an object, providing the strong contrast needed for higher resolution imaging– unlike thermal images, that rely on radiated photons. At NIT, we offer unique SWIR cameras and sensors, see below for more information on our products.

Microscope Cameras
In contrast to digital cameras for normal photography, microscope cameras are built to meet the demands of high-end science- and research applications. For maximum light sensitivity they use large CCD or CMOS sensors for image acquisition. Color reproduction is often critical, why features like Microscanning or Color-Co-Site Sampling ensure optimal image quality. Due to the lack of a light absorbing color filter monochrome microscope cameras for fluorescence imaging are even more sensitive.

VIS-NIR Cameras
Surveillance cameras based on CCD/CMOS/ ICCD/ EMCCD/EBAPS imaging sensors sensitive in visible and near infrared range are widely used in many long range surveillance applications as independent imagers or as part of a bigger multi-sensor surveillance systems. Majority of VIS-NIR cameras are used for day level applications but an increasing number of these cameras is used to enable surveillance in both night and day conditions. In both cases it is important to verify performance of these cameras under varying illumination conditions from very dark nights to ultra bright days. Important missions can fail due to too low sensitivity of VIS-NIR cameras at night conditions (dark, noisy images) or due to too low dynamic at ultra bright day conditions (saturated, blurred images). Next, it is important to use VIS-NIR cameras that generate high quality images in order to achieve maximal effective surveillance ranges.

Professional Thermal Imaging Cameras
PeakTech Prüf- und Messtechnik GmbH
Is a thermal imaging camera with a thermal resolution of 160x120 thermal image points with a high-quality sensor, which makes even the smallest temperature differences visible. All thermal images can be opened and evaluated using the enclosed software, with subsequent changes, e.g. can be done on the pallet selection. Use this new development to find thermal bridges in thermography, leaks in systems and pipe systems or track heating pipes in walls and floors.

Microscope Cameras
The Imaging Source 13 megapixel microscope camera has been designed to be a cost-effective, versatile solution for demanding microscopy applications. Featuring Sony CMOS technology, this camera comes equipped with a distortion-free autofocus lens which allows viewers to capture exactly what they see through the ocular rather than being limited to a region of interest. This camera can take the place of the ocular itself or can be screwed into the C-mount - eliminating the need for costly adapters. The camera's USB 3.0 interface makes a full HD preview (at 30 fps) on the host PC a reality.

POLARIZATION CAMERAS
Conventional high-speed cameras have been utilized for nearly eighty years and are widely accepted worldwide through continuous technological development to visualize fast occurring phenomena. In recent years, demand for using polarization in structural dynamics and high-speed object detection has been increased due to the advancement of robotics, clear film production and new materials testing technologies. On the other hand, traditional high-speed cameras lack any polarization sensitivity.

Hyperspectral Cameras
Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc
A hyperspectral camera can scan an object and determine what materials make up that object. For example, it can determine the amount of water, fat or protein in a piece of steak. This works by being able to measure the way in which each material interacts with light. By doing this a special signature is created that is individual to that material.

Pipe & Duct Inspection Cameras
Pipe & Duct Inspection Camera are video inspection cameras with a probe long enough (roughly 70 ft.) to locate and identify an obstruction in a water or sewer line or HVAC duct by taking close-up video clips and photos of it. The P16PIP probe (also available separately) that comes with the DPS16 Pipe & Duct Inspection Camera has better camera lighting and optics and slightly better resistance to water than the P610-20PR probe that attaches to a recording or non-recording wet/dry inspection camera console.

SKF Condition Monitoring Center
Using an SKF Thermal Camera is a proactive way to help you detect problems before they occur, increasing uptime and improving safety. They allow you to be able to visualise potential problems, invisible to the naked eye, by presenting a picture of the heat distribution of an asset. The thermal image, presented on a large LCD screen, shows you where the temperature is either too hot or too cold allowing you to pinpoint potential problems fast.
