2.5G DPSK Demodulator
Optoplex’s Optical DPSK Demodulator, also known as Delay Line Interferometer (DLI), converts phase modulation to amplitude modulation over the entire C+L band in support of data transmission rates of 2.5, 10 or 40 Gb/s. The DPSK demodulator is designed for phase modulated optical communication systems utilized in commercial, defense and space exploration markets. The device plays a key role in improving signal quality and performance to meet the expanding demand for higher data rates and more complex transmission formats within current and next generation systems without major capital expenditure. Optoplex’s DPSK Demodulator is based on a patented free-space optical design, which is compact, athermal and polarization-independent. Themeasured frequency drift over temperature is only ~0.02 GHz/°C for our standard passive device. Trend Tracker screens are simple and easy to navigate using drop down menus for each test to select the desired test data to view on the graphs. Once a test is selected, the Test Readings Graph and Histogram are updated automatically. These graphs show a graphic representation of the readings obtained for the selected test.

The PI-1600 Circuit Breaker Tester incorporates modular design and flexibility to provide unequaled capability in a portable package. The PI-1600 test set is two testers in one, incorporating the PI-800 and PI-AUX. The PI-800 section can be used alone, on 120 or 240 VAC supplies, generating continuous current of 400, 800, amps at 4.2 kVA, with peak output to over 10x. When configured for the PI-1600, the PI-AUX output unit is connected in series or parallel to the PI-800. Model 40-531 very high density matrix modules are configured as a 32x8, while the 40-532 modules are configured as a Dual 16x8. Short Circuit Locator
A694
The A694 is a short circuit locator designed for fault location in metallic cables. The instrument measures the ratio of the resistances of the two sections of failed conductor using a four-wire "Kelvin" connection, thus eliminating errors associated with contact resistances of the test leads. With the A694 you can determine if the cable has more than a short and locate the first and the last fault. The instrument locates fault with an insulation resistance up to 5 Mohms in cables that have a total resistance greater than 0.1 ohm and less than 40 kohms. The distance to fault is measured as a percentage of the total length of cable and is displayed on a large LCD display.
