Multi-Channel PD System Locator
PDiagnostic Series
-
Power Monitoring and Diagnostic Technology Ltd.
The PDiagnostic is a portable system that utilizes Ultra-High Frequency (UHF), Acoustic Emissions (AE), High-Frequency Current Transformer (HFCT), and Transient Earth Voltage (TEV) sensors to detect, analyze, and locate the PD signals in real time for a multitude of medium and high voltage electric power equipment. The multi-channel PDiagnostic system locates PD on power equipment down to a meter by utilizing Acoustic-Electromagnetic Combination Location Technique, Time Difference of Signals’ Arrival (TDOA), Partial Discharge Signals Separation (PDSS), and 3D Positioning Technology with PC software included. The system features advanced PD diagnostic capabilities, automatic PD type pattern recognition, and accurate PD location capabilities. The PDiagnostic is an ideal trouble-shooting tool for your PD programs. Severity is determined and maintenance suggestions are provided accordingly.

USB-8501, 1-Port, Low-Speed/Fault Tolerant, USB CAN Interface Device
786306-01
CAN Interface
The USB-8501 is a low-speed controller area network (CAN) interface for developing applications with the NI‑XNET driver. The USB‑8501 is powered over the USB bus and does not require external power. It excels in applications requiring real-time, high-speed manipulation of hundreds of CAN frames and signals such as bus monitoring, automation control, and more. The NI‑XNET device‑driven DMA engine enables the onboard processor to move CAN frames and signals between the interface and the user program without CPU interrupts, minimizing message latency and freeing host processor time for processing complex applications. The USB‑8501 is available with a three‑pin COMBICON synchronization connector for triggering and synchronizing the internal hardware timebase with other devices.

PXI/PXIe 1000Base-T1 Dual Multiplexer With Fault Insertion, Dual Channel
40-204-002
Multiplexer Module
The 40-204-002 (PXI) and 42-204-002 (PXIe) are dual channel differential multiplexers designed to simulate common faults on high-speed two wire communication interfaces such as 1000Base-T1. They are available with support for 1 or 2-channels of two wire serial interfaces. Each channel pair can be looped out to external equipment or the switches can be used simulate a channel open fault. Using the fault bus, switches can simulate a short between both wires or a short to one of two externally applied fault conditions – such as battery supply or ground - via two fault buses.
