High Speed High Mix Pick And Place
MC389
The MC389 sets new standards for SMT pick and place speed, precision, and flexibility. Based on the MC Series’ durable ball-screw and rotary-encoded drive train, its three heads and on-the-fly vision allow accurate placement of any SMD (including 01005 chips, µBGAs, and 12-mil pitch QFPs). With an enormous placement area of 650 mm x 460 mm (25.6" x 18.1") and a capacity for up to 160 Smart Tape and Stick Feeders, the MC389 can easily be configured for virtually any high-mix project.

The new 81626C high-power optical head provides a 5 mm detector area and allows flexible placement of the remote optical power meter, which is then connected to the N7749C. The 81626C accepts parallel beams with up to 4 mm diameter, standard SM fiber and MM fiber with max. 100 μm core diameter, NA ≤ 0.3. A wide choice of adapters allows input from popular fiber connector types, bare fibers or open beams. The magnetic D-shaped adapters allow rapid removal and replacement without twisting attached fibers.

The S12362/S12363 series is a back-illuminated type 16-element photodiode array specifi cally designed for non-destructive X-ray inspection. These are modified versions of our previous products (S11212 series: 1.575 mm pitch). The pitch has been changed to 2.5 mm. The back-illuminated photodiode array is also simple to handle and easily couples to scintillators without having to worry about wire damage because there are no bonding wires and photosensitive areas on the back side.
