As the industry’s market share leader in PCB design software, the Mentor Graphics® Xpedition product augments mechanical analysis and physical testing by introducing virtual accelerated lifecycle testing much earlier in the design process. This is the industry’s first PCB-design-specific vibration and acceleration simulation solution targeting products where harsh environments can compromise product performance and reliability, including the military, aerospace, automotive and industrial markets. WIPL-D Pro
WIPL-D kernel is unique in many ways, allowing the most efficient full wave EM simulations. It is based on the Method of Moments (MoM) but applied to quadrilateral mesh elements. In addition, the basis functions are HOBFs (Higher Order Basis Functions) which means up to 2 lambdas large mesh elements. The electrical size of problems is expressed in number of unknowns, rather than in mesh elements. The quad mesh offers two times less unknowns than the traditional triangular one, while using HOBFs reduces number of unknowns several times.

Plus Radio Ethernet Receiver

The Plus Radio Ethernet receiver is required as part of the Tinytag Radio Data Logging System. It controls the transmission of data to and from the radio loggers: data received from the loggers is then sent to the computer for viewing with Tinytag Explorer radio software. If power to the computer running the system is lost, the receiver has a battery back-up which will maintain the mesh network until power is restored. This receiver plugs directly into a LAN removing the need for a computer in the area where monitoring is to take place. The receiver is powered using a plug-in Power over Ethernet adaptor (ACS-0041) which is supplied with the unit.
