The 409B generates four independent, phase synchronous sine wave output signals and is programmable in 0.1 Hz steps from 0.1 Hz to 171 MHz. Programming is via an RS232 serial interface. Phase is 14-bit programmable and amplitude is 10-bit programmable. Internal memory can store a sequence of settings. The -AC option is available to enable users to step through settings using an external trigger. It is accurate to 1.5 ppm using the on board TCXO timebase or you can use an external timebase, There is also a /R option that provides a way to lock to and track an external 10MHz frequency input. A line powered AC adapter and SOF8_409 windows software on a CD are included.

Multiplying Current Output D/A Converters
Analog Devices offers a wide range of high precision, multiplying current output (IOUT) D/A converters (DACs) that feature ±1 LSB INL and DNL specifications, from 12-bit up to an industry-leading 18-bit resolution. Our portfolio includes single and multiple D/A converters in small packages with parallel or serial SPI interfaces. Multiplying current output R-2R D/A converters allow for an external amplifier that’s optimized for specific applications and that does not require reference buffering, which enables high linearity. The SoftSpan™ feature allows software selectable output spans, therefore eliminating the need to add precision gain stages and the associated external jumpers, precision resistors, and amplifier circuitry. Integrated precision resistors allow for reference inversion, bipolar offset, and offset and gain adjustment.

The 425A generates sine, LVDS and LVCMOS outputs simultaneously and is programmable in 10µHz steps from 250kHz to 350MHz and includes an LVCMOS Prescaler and Divider for generating LVCMOS frequencies down to 2 Hz. The 425A is controlled by an RS232 serial interface. Phase can be programmed with 14-bit resolution. The Frequency is accurate to 1.5ppm when using the on board TCXO timebase or you can use an external timebase. It requires 5 VDC power. A Line Voltage AC Adapter is included. The 40-735 data communications multiplexer is designed for switching the data lines of serial interfaces (RS232, USB). Careful attention to the design of the module ensures that the switching system minimizes its impact on the transmission distance of USB1.1 interfaces. The MUX is available in 36:1 or 18:1 formats and enables a single source of serial data to be switched to one of 36 or 18 devices under test. This allows the data source to load information to, or receive information from, the device under test. This 36:1 version can be software configured into two independent 18 way MUXs enabling two separate sources of serial data to be connected to separate banks of 18 devices. The module is ideal for performing bulk testing of any device that relies on a serial data communications port to load software or control the device operation. It can also be used for a variety of other applications where ever a 2-pole low power MUX is required.

This tunability is accomplished by the use of three poles of selectivity, multiple internal tunable filters along with high performance PIN diode RF band select switches. Serial control is accomplished via a standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI)-based bus.
