High Current Probes
The maximum continuous current rating of a spring probe is determined by its design, size, and construction. Typical probes are rated from 2 to 8 amps maximum continuously current at working travel. While this is sufficient for most board test applications, higher current applications will require a much more solid and rugged probe to withstand current capabilities of 10 to 150 amps and beyond.Another high current solution is our feed-through plunger probe line. As the name already describes, the plunger moves right through the probe and is made from a single piece, reducing the internal resistance of the probe to a minimum.

HDMI Test Connector
The plug contact consists of a test plug for the transmission of the digital signals that meet your specific requirements and a suitable adapter (mounting unit). Due to their built-in rubber buffers, the mounting shoes have different degrees of freedom and allow a self-centering contact. Because of these flexible fixing tolerances on the product and in the contact area can be compensated (for example in case of misalignment or deviations in the assembly). The plugs can be easily integrated into test fixtures or contacting modules. By a suitable cable assembly, the plug is connected quickly and solderless to the measuring system. This makes it easy to replace the test plugs while maintaining the system.

Most defects in the circuit-board assembly are due to the solder paste or the process of printing solder paste. Since the transition to lead-free soldering, a whole new spectrum of problems has emerged in older paste printing and its due processes. Incomplete coalescence of ball grid array (BGA) spheres and solder paste deposits are failure modes that have increased in frequency since the transition to lead-free soldering. The SigmaXs inspection technology is unaffected by varying materials, surface conditions, or colors. The system profiles the board to generate accurate 3D shapes far superior to other brands and technologies.
