Perfect solution for shops with limited space that would like to have a dyno that they can move out of the way when it is not being used. The low profile design and relatively small footprint of the MD-150 makes it ideal for these situations. Mustang has integrated a lift jack like you would see on a standard pallet jack into the frame of the MD-150 and equipped the opposite side of the dyno with retractable heavy-duty casters to make moving the dyno around the shop easy for a single person. Simply roll the dyno into place, plug it in and attach the ramps and you are ready to perform performance tuning and diagnostics testing in minutes.

The 150 series 2WD dynamometer is a compact offering that let’s you tune street cars without a large dedicated space. The 150 portable includes a pallet jack modification on one end of the frame and two bottle jacks on the other allow you to move this dyno in your shop. The portability kit lets you free up space as needed. The portable 150 is ideal for smaller shops, schools and outdoor events. There is no need to secure the unit to the ground – simply lower the unit onto the ground, hook up the light-weight composite ramps and start testing. The MD-1750 has the largest set of rollers in the industry at 50-inches. The 1750 Series is designed for customers whose horsepower testing requirements and drag racing slick tires require a larger, tire-friendly roller configurations. The MD-1750 is available with a wide 96-inch outer track for testing large Diesel Trucks. When coupled with the SE or DE eddy current option, the MD-1750 is capable of properly loading and testing very large diesel trucks without worrying about tire slippage.

In cases where traction is less than ideal, a vehicle may be designed to improve stability and traction at the expense of power. This means adding torque to a spinning wheel or retarding of timing. In order to properly test an AWD vehicle for peak performance, an AWD chassis dynamometer must be able to simulate ideal road-load conditions to the vehicle.
