Connections are made via front panel mounted high quality RF coaxial connectors, SMA or N-Type for 50 Ω and 1.6/5.6 in 75 Ω versions. The DN-SSR4 includes 4 normally open, Form A, solid-state relays. The user can use the DN-SSR4 to switch high voltage load up to 240VAC and up to 4A. Four enunicator LEDs (one for each relay) light when their associated relay is activated. Each output is equipped with a varistor that shunts the surge voltage of the inductive load or electromagnetic brake to protect the relay contact point. All relay control and relay outputs are accessible through the wiring terminals.

High Voltage Switching Systems

HXV products are high voltage systems intened for Hi-pot / IR or High voltage switching. They can be configured to drive from 32 to 128 switch points per chassis and can be configured as multiplexer (1xN) or Matrix (NxM) configurations. Stand HXV chassis are used for signals up to 5000 VAC rms ( 7400 V peak ) and can carry up to 5 amps of current. Custom systems can be built up to 25KV. Most of the modules used in these systems are 1xN multiplexers or 2x4 matrix modules that can be combined to form larger multiplexers or matrices. Connector options for standard HXV include 5 way banaba jacks / binding posts, Shrouded Banana Jacks or SHV ( High voltage BNC) if you need to use a high voltage cable with a grounded shield for safety applications. Control options include 10/100BaseT Ethernet LAN, RS232, GPIB or optional manual control. Standard HXV systems use high voltage reed relays. Custom HXV systems up to 25KV use application specific relays and connectors from a variety of vendors based on required specifications.
